I say this move is ready to be remade!
I love this movie! And now since alot of musicals are being remade. This one would make a great addition. Not sure of who would play who tho. They're hard footsteps to follow.
shareI don't disagree with you, but there's only one problem. It would be hard to find people who wouldn't make it a parody, and probably a very heavy-handed one, full of heavy-handed early ' 60s jokes. I don't know if you've ever seen "Psycho Beach Party," but that was a beach movie parody that really WORKED. It's just that I wouldn't expect to be that lucky again.
If they remade it, maybe Michael Nader could play one of the straight-laced adults!
