girl who loses her top

I've only seen the opening credits number, which I found so saccharine that I've never been able to watch the rest of the movie.

I did like the naughty bit where the girl's bikini top gets ripped off by the fisherman. Who is this girl? Is she a main character?

Is the rest of the movie worth watching?

The opening number was great. The rest of the movie is definatly worth watching. They should have had more scenes like the one with the bikini girl.

I know this post is like ancient history at this point, but the girl who gets her top ripped off is Buster Keaton's female sidekick, for lack of a better term, in the movie. She is not a main character; in fact, she does not even have any dialogue. (But I'll agree - total babe! They just don't make women like that anymore.)

Yes, the opening scene is quite saccharine, and you would probably find the rest of the film to be so as well. But it IS worth a watch if you're in the mood for some mindless entertainment. I think if I saw this film for the first time as an adult, I would probably have the same opinion as you. Lucky for me, I was introduced to it as a young girl, a young girl who was veritably obsessed with movies of the same and similar genres, and watch it now wistfully!

This girl is not the usual Buster Keaton sidekick. The usual sidekick is Bobbie Shaw, who is easily recognizable. The girl who loses her top in Beach Blanke Bingo, is in no other beach party movies. AIP often hired Playboy Playmates for bit roles, and this girl could be one of those. She is beautiful.

That is Chris Cranston

Look at her credit on "Playboy After Dark" and expand the image of the show. You will see her on the cover. Boy I hope you see this. It took some work!
