This may or may not be an appropriate place to post this news, but there seem to be a lot of Tippy Walker fans here. Her elusive film THE JESUS TRIP (1971) is scheduled for DVD release on June 9th, 2009. I'm not familiar with the Televista label, so I can't vouch for the DVD quality until I see it.
shareAnd it has turned out to be a crap product! The quality is so dark that you can't even see what is happening, most of the time. I can't even recommend it to Tippy Walker completists (and I'm one of those). I'd say give this DVD a pass, until a better print comes along (if ever).
shareSounds exactly like the VCR tape I have. This is a terrible film, and the print quality is among the worst I have ever seen. I am guessing that the cinematographer was a complete amateur at this time. I'd be much more interested in getting DVDs from ETW's season on Peyton Place.
