Does anybody know if Teshigahara's other collaboration with Kobo Abe - the 1968 film `Moetsukita chizu` (The ruined Map) has ever been released on DVD or VHS, or if there are any plans for it to be released soon, or in the near future?

Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Wow.....I haven't checked this post for a while, but thanks for your response.

Yes, I've already seen his other Kobo Abe adaptations 'Pitfall' and 'Face of Another' and thought they were great, which is why I was asking. I hope they release The Ruined Map sometime in the not too distant future.
