Bergman's Persona? Bill Brandt?
Does anyone know if Ingmar Bergman mentioned this movie as an influence?
I think it is clear how similar this movies is to Persona 1966 in some aspects, the opening scene specifically with the zoomed in shot of that lighting object and the disturbing music which had almost the same structure.
Another scene reminded me very much of the British photographer Bill Brandt and his nude photographs on the beach, the angels and clear body details were just the same as some shots of the scene in the beginning of the movie where the woman were sleeping naked after their first night together.
