Can anyone help me - please?
I'm trying the remember the name of a comedy detective/spy story that I saw in the 1970's. I guess the film was made in the 1970's and featured a series of incidents similar to Clouseau with a comic Inspector who throughout the film was always being knocked on the head, at the end of the film he was kneeling down by a door trying to see through the keyhole when someone opened the door violently smacking him on the head, then in the final moments when he was recovering at home in bed a friend visited him and knocked a vase off a shelf onto his head. Also a man was locked in a steam room by a girl.
The film was British made and was probably made 1962 to 1968, around the same time as 'The Liquidator'.
