couldn't help but see richard 'bouquet' bucket in richard attenboroughs portrayal of Billy Savage. anyone else agree?

lol, I'm not sure others here know who you mean, but yes, a very similar character. I wonder if this is who Clive Swift (aka Richard Bouquet) modelled the character on.

Here's another Keeping Up Appearances link - there is an episode of Steptoe and Son called "Seance In A Wet Rag And Boneyard" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0710106/ - which features a medium played by Patricia Routledge who went on to star in the aforementioned BBC comedy.

Yes! I noticed that after watching "Seance" the other day...having not seen it in quite a while. Since my previous viewing I'd become more of an "Appearances" fan, so the character resemblance seemed more noticeable.
