I expected Billy's asthma to come up somehow. It was bad enough that he was unable to work. The smoke in the woods seemed like it would be relevant. In the end it was just a loose character detail. Or did I miss something? Did Myra manipulate him into thinking he was sicker than he was?

I suspect he told her he had asthma but was really home because she was mentally ill. I don’t think he was I’ll at all.
