Has anyone seen both the Masters and Criterion DVD? It seems the Masters has director commentary and more extras? Is the Masters DVD available in USA/CAnada Region 1?

hey, just check out the wonderful site DVD BEAVER. They do all the comparisons for you. On this film they decide MOC is better (but note: its region 2). Critereon cuts off too much of the image sometimes and also in this case...
shareEvery time that I try to go the Onibaba page at DVDBeaver, I get an endless stream of error message windows (until I kill Explorer with the Task manager).
The Onibaba review is the one that I've ever had that problem with at DVDBeaver.
I have R2 dvdplayer, sometimes gonna buy Onibaba MoC, because it won in Dvdbeaver. I don't care about regions, just regionhack ur player or buy a Multi-Region player.
shareMy Masters of Cinema copy has a trailer, commentary and an intro by Alex Cox. It's region 2. I'm afraid I've only just got it and haven't watched the commentary yet, so can't tell you who does it.
