Found this story in the English newspaper the Guardian which tells of the characters who inspired Shaw to write this story.

Oh boy, here I was loving the characters and everything, and then I had to read that. Too real, too annoying. Oh well. I had blessedly forgotten about it before, hopefully, I will again.
