This film was better in many ways than Gladiator ; Phoneix's Commodus was better than Plummer's. He looked far more decadent, weak, as a potential ruler, but both failed to fully show his athleticism.

However, AD2022 will be the 1900th anniversary of the construction of Hadrians Wall, on the Empire's frontiers.

I believe that year will be marked in Britannia, rightly, and now want to write on this board that all interested readers/regular contributors/admirers of Roman history,may wish to contact The Hadrians Wall Trust in England, with their suggestions how they consider this mighty emblem of Roman imperial power be marked in 2022.
