Brad Garrett for Herman Robin Williams for Grandpa!

If they do a remake those two would be tailor made for the roles.

And while Catherine Zeta-Jones is having issues...She's be perfect as Lily!

If such a remake was to happen (I don't want it), it would only be appropriate to have Feldman play Grandpa, so wait until 2040 or so.

I remember when Brad Garrett did stand-up in the 80's he said something about being the love child of Herman Munster and Greg Brady, lol

A second choice for Herman could be Neil Flynn ("Scrubs", "The Middle"). I think he's only two inches shorter than Garrett. My choice for Lily has always been Bebe Neuwirth (Lilith from "Cheers"). In fact, she's played Morticia on Broadway in "The Addams Family" musical. Heck, Neuwirth actually wouldn't need that much make-up to play Lily neither!

Herrmann's kind of old now and wouldn't be as spry as he was when he played the part back in the Eighties (or was it Nineties?).

Great casting I would love to see Garrett, Williams and Nuewerth.

How about Kate Upton as Marlyn?

Bebe Nuewerth, like Morticia Addams played her character in a severe, aloof, even-toned voiced manner.

Whereas, Lily Munster was a more impassioned individual. She was warmer, friendlier and more cordial, while Morticia could be pleasant, she was still distant. Except when Gomez was all over her whenever she spoke French.

And when Lily was angry, she was a blazing fury of a woman and you could see the fire in her eyes. Whereas Morticia, again was very serene even in her anger.

So I don't know if Nuewerth could do Lily like she could do Morticia.

Kathy Jones has that smoldering heat in her that is Lily all-over.

I love the idea of Brad Garret for Herman Munster--that would be perfect casting.

Now that Robin Williams is no longer with us, what about Danny DeVito for the role of Grandpa?

Also, what do you think of Courtney Cox for the part of Lilly?

Danny DeVito would be a funny Grandpa. I don't know about Courteney Cox as Lily.
