Her not responding makes no sense

Not only once, but about three or so times we see the husband returning home, and IMMEDIATELY calling out her name. I think it is Julie or something.

She responds.. how many times?

Let's count with all our fingers and toes, shall we? Er... there's the time when she... no, she actually doesn't, but that's OK, because she's asleep.

Then there's the time when she's in the kitchen, and absolutely doesn't respond. What?

The third time, she's just upstairs, talks with him normally when he enters the room, but ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT RESPOND before when he calls her name multiple times.

What the fk, woman? Why not respond... TO YOUR HUSBAND?!

Furthermore, why would she call, if she never responds? Why would THIS be his HABIT to do first thing when he enters the house, EVERY SINGLE TIME?

Why keep this kind of useless routine going on, IF SHE NEVER RESPONDS?

Of course, if she SOMETIMES responds, then why doesn't she respond every time? And don't give me crap about 'concentration'.

Isn't it also weird, that their plan is to infiltrate and kill him with two separate visitors, but she just keeps walking downtown and scaring kids and just spending her 'married life' inside of the empty house, doing.. nothing? What kind of a plan / mission is this?

Also, was it REALLY necessary to MARRY him to kill him??

Also also, why didn't she kill him, the about 190 771 times when she had the chance? If that is her mission, why isn't he dead when the movie begins?

To add, why would they need to send so many of them to the same location? One works as a secretary for .. years, building trust? What a concentration!

I mean, if they already have that killer secretary in the office, inside the building, inside the firm, facility, etc.. why can't she perform all the killings? Why would they need Juliet or whatever, TO MARRY him as well, when the secretary could have easily killed everyone?

Why not just kill everyone immediately, when you get to the secretary position? You were gonna kill them all anyway at some point, so what is this weird waiting tactic..??

Yep, movies didn't make sense in 1963, and movies still don't make sense now - movies seem to NEVER have made any sense. Sigh.
