Holy Saturation

I was busy doing my Halloweenish things tonight and this was on the TV. Corman may have hit the best over-saturated color palate EVER with this movie. To be honest, I couldn't have cared less what happened, that's how good it looked.

I will watch this movie again with the intent of watching a movie, but I have to say, as a background, this was the best Halloween imagery I could have hoped for.

Way better than Susperia. At least that horrific Goblin soundtrack wasn't playing.

Happy Halloween, people.

The version playing on TCM is by far the best ever. I made a VHS recording of it and even with the imperfections of tape it still puts all the cheap public domain DVD versions of this movie to shame. 1) It's letterboxed, 2) they've restored the colors (apparently). Thanks to whoever is responsible for it.

It's 'I COULD NOT HAVE CARED LESS' NOT ' I COULD HAVE CARED LESS'; if you COULD HAVE CARED LESS then you CARED and were prepared to care less!! It's I COULDN'T HAVE CARED LESS, because you couldn't go any LOWER in how much you cared!

Sweet Jesus!!

The OP stated "I couldn't have cared less..." reread before you correct someone's grammar.

But the OP has been edited...

Goblin soundtracks seem to be fairly divisive. I like them but can see how they're not for everyone.

"Could care less" is the ironic spawn of the other phrase. It's the sarcastic version.

I agree that this film was very beautiful to look at, but I'm very surprised to hear you say that bout the Suspiria soundtrack. I love the music from that movie and think it contributed greatly to the surreal, dreamlike atmosphere.
