William Daniels: unusual leading man

I remember Captain Nice and of course St. Elsewhere but I had never seen Ladybug, Ladybug but it was way back in my memory that I should check it out. William Daniels was totally against the grain as far as what the American public(at that time)wanted in a leading man. Captivating and hugely talented and along with Nancy Marchand this is some really strong stuff and yet watchable for the whole family.

He's not a leading man here, it's an ensemble cast film.

Check his terrific performance as John Adams in "1776."
