Where did all that armor come from?

Did Jason really have the audacity to loot the Treasures of the Gods just because their protector, Talos, had been slain? If not, then where did they get that armor they suddenly start wearing when they reach the blind man and harpies?

reply

Yea, never explained where they suddenly all got those fancy white uniforms and armor when they encounter the Harpies, even Naismith finally gets dressed lol. Only thing I can think of is that they had them all the time but didn't wear them when rowing the ship. Makes sense that way.

one more thing,as they are walking up the hill towards the temple ruins, you see the ship in the background but its anchored quite a distance from the shore. did they swim to shore? why didnt they sail the ship right up to the beach like they did on the island with talos??

reply

yeah, each time i see this wonderful flick it is always somewhat startling how they suddenly are dressed out in these spiffy uniforms after looking pretty ragged prior!

I am not sure what the problem is. It is not exactly easy to row in armour, even light armour that they wore, and their ship had a storage capacity anyway. It is pretty obvious that they'd pack armour for their journey.

True, I'm sure it had a storage capacity. I think some of the queries relate to the fact that Talos turns the Argo upside down, whilst holding it up in the air and we do see quite a lot of stuff drop out of the boat into he water. Obviously not any of the armour and weapons we see them equipped with later.🐭

I just always assumed that they had all of that with them on the ship.
