Whorehouse would be my guess. Hud wasn't hurting for female companionship, but perhaps he just enjoyed some professional attention occasionally. Lon wisely declined to go with him.
Keeping time with her... Stepping out with her... Catting around with her... Tapping into her... Seeing her on the sly... Meaning: fornicating with her, committing adultery with her, indulging himself outside of her marriage to Mr. Ruben Fletcher.
Thanks. I only see your message now since I did not get a notification from imdb.
But what is the actual question made by the OP? What does he mean by ¨What is 'Mrs. Rugelfletcher's house'?¨ What is said about this in the film? I don´t recall.
The OP misheard the name, and didn't understand the conversation. It's been a while, but I think Lon was asking Hud what his plans were for the night. Hud said something like "well, just to keep everyone up to date, I'll be stopping by Mrs. Ruben Fletcher's house." Plus, there was the married woman whose house he was in when Lon (and the husband) found him, plus the married woman he introduced to Lon and Mr. Bannon in the café. He had a penchant for married women.
Belated thank you, Movies789. I did not receive a notification from IMDB when you replied. I only see it now. It´s been a while since I saw the film too. I´ll keep it in mind for next viewing.
Yeah. I took it as a 'cat house'. Not another wife he was seein. If it wasn't a 'cat house' why would he ask Lon to join him? Some of these posters who answered your question don't pay attention.
