What make/modle of car did Tim drive?

Haven't actually seen the show in years but I remember Bill Bixby driving a convertible of some sort. Anyone know the make/model/year? I can't seem to find any reference to it. I bring this up because in the remake for GONE IN 60 SECONDS, Robert Duvall, Nicholas Cage and Angelina Jolie are playing a game of identifying cars from old TV shows. Robert Duvall asks, what is the Bill Bixby trifecta and Jolie answers "drove a Corvette in The Magician, a Ford pickup truck in The Incredible Hulk, and in The Courtship of Eddie's Father, he walked." Given that very few people remember the quickly cancelled Magician and the other two are lame answers, its sad Favorite Martian wasn't part of the answer. Then I started looking up some information about the convertible and couldn't find anything. I'm assuming the writers of GONE had the same problem.
