that was Larry Storch

who impersonated Cagney. I was searching for this show, not that I liked it, but I remembered it, and I liked Storch in it. 5 guys in a truck, which only two can drive, while 3 hide in the tank, and I think one is the brains. One old guy dies of a heart attack. A killer type whose face is known wants to get up front, but the protaganist (I thought it was James Darren, maybe not), won't let him. In the end, the police catch on, and set up a road block. To say more would be a spoiler.

Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time

I haven't seen that one yet - it sounds cool.

BTW today is Larry's birthday!

I just watched this episode. It's called "The Jack is High", episode 6 of season 2 broadcast november 19th 1964. Larry Storch does impersonations of WC Feilds and Cary Grant, not Cagney. It was Ed Byrnes, "Kookie" from 77 Sunset Strip, who starred in this, not James Darren. Harry Belliver is the one who dies of a heart attack. Belliver played a detective on "Naked City" at this time. It was fast paced and entertaining.
