Hey Robin
It will be tough to track this one since I don't see it readily listed in Lee Marvin's performances, unless I don't recognize the title which could very well be since I don't know the title. I remember Lee in the foreground with numerous actors in full body stockings walking slowly around the stage and Lee seemingly could not evade them. Don't what he was doing, where it was, the plot, nothing, just that scene which I remember well as the most bizarre scene I've ever witnessed on TV and I will never forget it. I want to see it again for old times sake and because I majored in drama and tv/communications in college and I'm interested in this unique story and staging. Also, mom died not too long ago and I've been retracing my steps something serious the last couple of years, all the things I did as a kid, what she did, where she grew up, etc. So I'm sort of reliving my past, year by year.
I cant remember if this show was early 60s or late 50s, but I remember it as b&w. I did watch Playhouse 90 back then; maybe that's it. I'll keep searching. Let me know if you find a lead. Perhaps the Museum of TV Broadcast History in NYC will know something. I'll give them a call in the near future.
Will get back to you.
Thanks and keep searching!
Don
