Recast Ideas for Nikolas and Morgan

Honestly, I wouldn't care if the Cassadines (minus Spencer, Alexis and her daughters) were written off GH forever...and I totally need a break from Morgan right now (he will probably go on a manic-destructive rampage, possibly killing Paul or shooting Julian and sent away to an asylum on a temp. insanity plea if the mixed meds angle is discovered).

BUT...if either character is recast, here are my choices.

NIKOLAS: Paul Anthony Stewart (Danny, GL) who already has proven chemistry with Laura Wright during their early days on Loving as Casey and Ally! If Justin Hartley's prime time gig doesn't work out (and if he isn't returning to The Young and The Restless), he would be great! Also, James Scott (E.J. DiMera from Days) is a solid leading man with class, charm, the acting chops to take on this role and great screen presence. Take your pick.

In Morgan's case, there's only one actor from a now defunct soap who comes to mind: Eddie Alderson (Matthew from OLTL). Yeah, his real-life sister played Kiki and it would seem somewhat incestuous in hindsight. Alderson could reel in the mania moreso than Bryan Craig's exhausting character...he wasn't given great material to work with when One Life ended, and has most likely quit acting by this point. He's my only choice though!

Eddie Alderson would be a great choice for Morgan and he could definitely act the role.

But I do think he wanted out of acting before OLTL ended but they talked him into staying until the show was done.

Weren't they killing him off at one time then suddenly undid it all? I know the actor had a long period off for whatever was going on in RL.

God, just from that photo I can tell Eddie A. would be wrong for the role! I can admit it! Aside from Nik, Morgan and Sabrina: GH needs to jettison so many others! IDC if Nik or Morgan return either because the new stories is going to focus on Michael and Nelle (I still don't think she's Joss's savior!) and hopefully Paul and Julian both receiving bullets in the brain (yeah I'm promoting mob violence) for their outlandish crimes but moreso for being such weak villains with no redeeming qualities! I love Maura West but Ava has also been getting away with murder and mayhem for years now, and without Morgan, Kiki is a non-entity! Eradicate the Jerome crime family for good!

Then you don't know Eddie Alderson at all since he could out-act Bryan Craig any day.

In fact, fans actually were rallying for him to be Morgan when Bryan Craig was cast in the role.

I think Stewart would be perfect as Nicolas. Great suggestion.

For me, I'd like to see Zack Conroy play Morgan.

How about bringing back Aaron Pierce (formerly known as Aaron Refvem) as Morgan?

Aaron is almost 19 years old in real life (GH said the casting was between 20-25).

Aaron Pierce played a specific version of Morgan that is long gone. They're not going to bring back the agreeable, baseball-loving, super-smart Morgan. They are looking for a young man who radiates anxiety and volatility. Plus, I would think they want someone who has the potential of becoming a heartthrob.

Can you seriously picture Pierce having sex scenes with Kiki and Ava? One Lexi Ainsworth is enough. They need someone like a young Jesse Metcalfe or Milo Ventimiglia.
