Please forgive me if this has already been discussed but HOW is it even possible these two were in the WSB together? Are we supposed to believe that Valentine and Anna are the same age? Anna was in WSB school way back in 1983 and that would've put Valentine at around 16 years old. I am having the hardest time wrapping my head around this storyline because it's so ill thought out. Long time GH watchers know Anna's history and so to rewrite it is an insult. If I am wrong please correct me.

Anna was in WSB training in the 70s, because she was an agent and conceived Robin in '79.

Val said he was 'very young' when Mikkos died, which was '81. IRL, Finola is about 8 years older than JPS, but GH has so screwed up its timelines that all bets are off.

I am overall just confused by the Valentine character. He stole Lulu's embryos. Why isn't he being put away for that? How is he able to have custody of Charlotte when he murdered Nicholas in cold blood? I love James Patrick Stuart but his character is completely stupid. The writers are really confused on GH history.

Valentin was cleared of any wrongdoing and Nik's death was considered self-defense. Valentin probably paid off a judge or something. And he painted himself as a victim by claiming that Daphne stole his sperm to fertilize Lulu's embryo.

I didn't catch a couple things either- did he steal her embryo, which would would be fertilized, right? Wouldn't that make her Dante's, or was it her eggs? What caused his deformities, could they have been passed to his child?

he had really bad scoliosis.....a chance it can be passed on, but very treatable

I wonder how Daphne stole Valentin's sperm? scrape it into a cup from his chest? or her chest? That would be an interesting flashback. ;)

No Helena stole the egg and instead of using Dante's sperm, she used Valentine's without him knowing about it.He found out stole the embryo back and hired Claudette to have the baby.

As far as his deformities, the causes of most scoliosis cases is unknown.

But there is a risk if your family member or close relative has it.

Valentine claimed Helena stole Lulu's egg.Before it was fertilized she tried to use starvros but something was wrong with him.Helena hired Daphne(the girl on the island when valentine first showed up) to obtain a sample from Valentine.She did and that was used to create embryo Charlotte.Then Valentine found out somehow and he stole it back from her and hired Claudette to give birth to the baby.

So no its not dante's

Thanks-the word embryo being thrown around makes me think of Dante. Egg harvesting is whole other can of worms. Poor Charlotte,what journey. Stolen eggs- stolen sperm- stolen embryo-fake Mom-"real Papa"-2 new Dads- dead "Mom"-back to Papa and new Step Mom and deathly afraid of real Mom. That's the making of of a real future soap mess."fun hot mess"fun

And aside from all that sci-fi embryonic finagling, the poor thing was also SORAS'd by a good four years which totally throws off Lante's timeline. They recently, and pointedly, re-established that Dante and Lulu have been married for seven years, and along comes Charlotte who can't be less than 6.

They have never told us how old Valentin is nor really made any allusions to it other than his being "very young" when Mikkos died in 1981. What's very young? 5? 20? Who the hell knows? I believe it was implied he was born after Alexis for whatever good that does. To me he "looks" about 45 and I agree with the OP, seeing him paired romantically with Anna looks odd.

It's vaguely reminiscent of when TPTB tried to convince us that Sonny and Connie had been in high school together. Right. Maybe if Sonny had been held back 10 years. 

There's an episode of Married with Children where Al claims that another high school that his football team competed against used ringers and had 25-year-olds in their games. A guy from the other team says that so did Al's. Al counters that the ones on his team were actually students, they were just stupid.

So, I'm picturing a situation like that.

Valentin is supposed to be 52, I can't find a definitive age for Anna but Finola is 57. So she wouldn't be that much older than him?

Maybe life is a dream and we wake up when we die?

Correct me if I'm wrong here but didn't Anna join the WSB with Robert?
