Is Carly making sense to anyone?

She doesn't want Sonny to kill the person who planted the bomb, but she wants to be notified as soon as Jason figures out who it is. (Why? She wants to mean mug and nag them to death?)

The second Sonny goes after Ava, she tells Dante to sit down and wait for it to play out. (Instead of, perhaps, preventing it.)

She doesn't want Sonny to be taken from his family or "ruin" what they are rebuilding, but in the preview, she says she will kill Ava with her own two hands which really is nothing more than a vent because she knows Sonny & Jason would prevent it.

Believe me. I understand she is a hypocrite. They all are. Heck, a lot of us are at times, myself included. This isn't about hypocrisy. It's about her not making any sense.

Does anyone here speak Carly?

She also doesn't give a hefty rat's patoot if her husband's son, Dante, loses his badge for not doing his job. She is a real piece of work (but highly entertaining).

Not a bit! I did laugh at the "What the hell did you do?" It came off so parental.

I might enjoy her if she got out of the cone of Corinthos. Mix things up and let her snark at some new people. Give her a new perspective.

That was ridiculous! Carly appealing to Dante to just sit around and let his father do what he will do. Either Jason will get to him before or after he has killed someone, really? I am so tired of Dante compromising his badge…and his ethics to be yet another Sonny apologist. Yes, he's his dad, but that doesn't make him above the law or it shouldn't. I liked it when Dante came to PC as a good cop intent on taking down Sonny and the bad guys. One thing he promised Mac when he took the job was him being Sonny's son would not influence how he did his job. Congrats GH on taking a great character with a moral center and turning it to mush. Carly can rant and rave about wanting to kill the guilty party but I am sick of Sonny always waving his gun around and threatening to kill everyone.

The least Dante could do is tell Jordan not to assign him to any Sonny situations. That would appease both the community and the PCPD. Honestly, there is no way Dante's presence on the force comforts any residents other than Sonny's family.

Aside from that, Dante is a detective not a beat cop. Why does he show up to every scene alone? Why are uniforms not meeting him there ASAP?

I want Carly away from Sonny, but failing that, she should totally embrace the mob life. This push-pull is ridiculous.
