Corrects "nearly all" of the music replacement issues, has the bonus OOP Rugolo soundtrack AND a full disc of bonus material!

My only question is, why is this release not in Blu-ray if they went to all this trouble to put it out on DVD?

Seems like CBS would want to capture a new audience for this show by remastering it for the current home theater technology, or at least giving access to a digital copy of the shows somehow for Ipods.

I'm not complaining--I'm frankly amazed anyone went to all this trouble for the die-hard fans--just pointing out what may have been a missed opportunity to make "The Fugitive" portable.

Either way, fantastic news (and news I hope that FINALLY satisfies everyone)!

It's been delayed due to technical issues with the discs it was manufactured on. At least they caught it before the actual release.

Apparently, other than 'incidental' music cues such as songs playing in the background on jukeboxes or radios, all the original music has been restored.

Alot of people stopped buying the first DVD releases when they found out the original music was removed, so the release of this set will be a welcomed addition to what they have. I pre-ordered this set and was lucky enough to secure a copy before the recall, but I'm anxiously waiting for news on the re-release. Hopefully ALL of the original music will be restored! I'd like to see it come out on blu-ray as well, but that's probably not going to happen.

The "Most Wanted Edition" was apparently recalled because there was a problem with some defective discs . Its release date has now been postponed . Damn , I was looking forward to put my hands on it for Christmas !

You were lucky to get one of the few sets of the first release.

I'm curious, do you know what the 'technical issues' were that caused the recall? Did you have problems with your discs?

I just found the Most Wanted Edition listed, again, on amazon.ca and pre-ordered it.
Fingers crossed it comes out October 23, 2012 as listed.
