OMG! Gerard Smiles In This Episode.

In "The End Is But the Beginning" Lt. Gerard is seen smiling after actress Barbara Barrie picks up her cat after it made some noise in the kitchen where Kimble was hiding. That had to be a first for the obsessive and obnoxious Gerard.

It may not have been a first, but it was rare. I seem to remember in "Nemesis" he smiled at his son (played by Kurt Russell) when they were driving in the car at the beginning. I liked those moments when you got to see the human side of Lt. Gerard.
