Plot summaries of every episode

In case you are a fan of The Fugitive, I have posted plot summaries of every episode on imdb. You can view them by going to:

http://www.imdb.com/user/ur12752657/comments-expanded?order=alpha&start=5

Unfortunately, the collected comments are in alphabetical order by episode title, not in order of the episodes. You can click and put them in order by "usefulness," based on user votes. You have the option of declaring whether or not you find what I said to be useful, and I invite you to do so if you feel like it.

A big fan of The Fugitive from the very beginning.

Dear James,

Thank you for writing all these plot summaries. I have enjoyed reading them. I have pressed Yes to the comments being useful on every one I have read because I have enjoyed both your summaries and your comments. I appreciate the amount of work it was to do this for all 120 episodes. But The Fugitive, the greatest show of all time, deserves it. Thanks again.

Best regards,
Mike B

i have all the plot summaries right here. kimble travels to new town, gets a job. he helps out someone in need and either that person or their friend recognize him. they turn him in or threaten to turn him in but only after he fixes a long standing wrong. the local sheriff realizes kimbles a good guy and sends the incoming gerard in the wrong direction. roll credits.

Ha, pretty funny.

You're born, go to school, work, get married, work, have kids, work, retire, you die...roll credits.

hey misty if your post wasnt so spot on as a dyed in the wool fewjhead
id have to take high umbrage (sp?) at your making funny at my beloved show's expense

but it was and so im not :-)

but in defense if i may you do nail the basic 'recipe' for most every plotline
but each ep (batch?) came stirred up w/ its own particular spice combination
making each a menu hit in its own way

as i think of it now i dont think the doc ever took a short order cook gig in any episode
but im sure he woulda been a fine hash slinger if he'd a had

ha and even a plot line too the doc saves the day by rushing out from behind the grill
to perform cpr on some customer whose heart has seized up on him while trying to scarf down a greasy order of
bacon eggs hash browns grits and a double slice of pecan pie

meanwhile fewj has been trying to fend off the two waitresses' not so subtle advances (theyre a mother daughter team btw)

who themselves are trying to fend off the not so bright copper who stops by for
pie & coffee every day (well coffee anyway)

and each time the fewj has to go through contortions trying to avoid the cop's
snapping to who fewj really is ('say boy you look familiar ... havent i seen you someplace before?' [cut to
shot of sheriff's office top ten list mugshots on the wall fewj's among them of course]

but officer horndog is too busy trying to score to really focus on the doc

meanwhile the daughter's ex is still stalking her and he does recognize fewj!

which leads to much high drama as he tells tammy (daughter's character's name)
she's got to take him back or he's gonna drop a dime on you know who ...

will she? wont she? will he? wont he? will the sheriff ever get wise? will the sheriff ever get pie? will fewj?
(dumb question)
will fewj have time to persuade darnelle (mom's character name she owns the joint) to put in a more heart healthy menu before he has to take it on the lam again?

who knows? but tune in again next time when richard kimble dons white t-shirt and tiny checked pants
(but no toothpick in side of mouth no sir fewj is too classy for that low rent look) in 'all forked up at the greasy spoon' next week's episode of the ... [que theme music] THE FUGITIVE A QM PRODUCTION starring david jansen as ...'

Nice job, James!

I, too, grew up with The Fugitive, and it is my favorite TV series. Whenever I go to the Hollywood Show (held 4 times per year in Burbank) I get autographs in my "Fugitive Episode Guide" from various stars in attendance. Autographs include Lana Wood, Diane Baker, Bruce Dern, Jacqueline Scott, Richard Anderson, Angie Dickinson, Earl Holliman, Antoinette Bower, Malachi Throne, H.M. Wynant, and many others.

Thanks for amplifying recognition for The Fugitive with your accurate and thorough plot summaries.

James thank you so much for all the info you have provided here in the plots and FAQs. True fans make the shows more enjoyable.

I was wondering if you had the answers to two questions.
1. How many times was Kimble shot in the series?
2. How many times was Gerard shot?

I saw an old episode from 1963. One of the actors looked like Desi Arnaz Jr. to me (although I guess he would've been too young for that show). I was trying to look up to see who that actor was, when I ran across your rundown of all the episodes. How awesome! That took a lot of work!

I found the episode (1963 - Terror at High Point), and the actor is Buck Taylor. Thanks!
