The Final Episode - Deleted Dialogue

At the end of the finale, when Kimble and Gerard meet outside the courthouse and shake hands, there is no dialogue, they just exchange knowing glances and then go their separate ways. Yet the other night I noticed that when they are shaking hands (in the two shot from behind Gerard) you can see that Gerard says something. You can see his mouth moving even though the actual dialogue has been deleted. Does anyone know if there was more to this scene than we were shown, was there an exchange of dialogue that was edited out? I would be interested to know what they said to each other after all that had occurred. Anyone know anything about this?

I've noticed that as well, it could be loose dentures or maybe an inside joke as

this was their final time working together. You can catch the clip on YouTube.

There was dialogue that was edited out. Originally Barry Morse said something like "good luck", but later David Janssen and Mr. Morse both decided it would be better if the series concluded with just a simple handshake between the two characters. Thus the dialogue was deleted.

He said, "I love you, Dr. Kimble."

He said," I need work now, got anything?"

I think the scene is even more intense without dialogue.

By the way, Donna also had a line to Leonard which was eventually cut.
