Pleshette, of course, guest-starred on the show twice. Recently read
on Youtube that the married Janssen had an affair with Pleshette,
which would hardly be surprising, considering their chemistry - and
the fact that most married movie/TV stars aren't faithful (with all
those beautiful women, can you blame them?). So, I'm curious...does
anyone know of any other affaird Janssen had with his many
beautiful female guest stars?
No wonder, Suzanne Pleshette wasn't very happy married with Donahue...
I'd bet on Lois Nettleton, always shows excessive and suspicious affections.
I also suspect of Janice Rule ( Only guesses ) .
Perhaps. I do know that Rule was going through a troubled marriage
to Ben Gazarra in the late '60's.
I've read he had a heated affair with Angie Dickinson, who guest starred with Robert Duval as her invalid brother. She publically admitted that Janssen was the best lover she ever had.
shareJust finished watching Landscape With Running Figures. The chemistry between Janssen and Barbara Rush is so incredible that I have to suspect something between them. Or else they're fantastic actors!
shareI thought the episode was very contrived and didn't care for Rush's
hammy performance (I've seen her in other things and enjoyed her, but
not here).
As GBennet said... the chemistry between Pleshette and Janssen was undeniable... didn't look like acting.
