Country Houses
I just saw episodes 3 & 4 "image of the Fendahl".
In that episode an old priory/country house is being used as a scientific research laboratory and is destroyed in the end.
In "Pyramids of Mars" most of the action happens in an English country estate in 1911. The mansion is destroyed at the end.
And I read that exterior shots of both mansions were filed at Stargroves, East Woodbury, Hampshire.
Ghost Light is set in a mansion, Gabriel Chase, in Perivale, greater London, in 1883.
In "The Seeds of Doom" millionaire Harrison Chase has an country estate which at the end is bombed by the RAF to destroy the Krynoid.
Athelhampton Hall in Dorset is used for exterior scenes of Chase's mansion.
And I read that in seasons 10 & 11 (30 December 1972-8 June 1974) U.N.I.T. had headquarters in an old country house. I don't where exteriors of it were filled.
And I think I one series was set at an older building where UNIT HQ would later be.
So does anyone have any information about country houses in Dr. Who 1963-1989?
