Great story, even as Sylv's doctor is dark and serious, he gets to display his comedic chops and acrobatic skills in his performance for the gods of ragnorak (if only he'd had a ferret handy)
I like that you get to see Ace and the Doctor inside the TARDIS too, something that was a pretty rare occurrence in the last couple of seasons.

This is one of those serials that stuck in my memory from the 80s/early 90s until I was able to buy the DVDs a decade or two later, especially impressive as I actually drifted away from Who a little throughout Colin and Sylv's eras.

New song "Breathless Love"

The clowns driving around a hearse is quite a bizarre and disturbing image. Another wonderfully weird and dark story from the McCoy era. I think the production troubles helped make this one look better. Had they not filmed in a real tent in the studio parking lot, it just wouldn't look as good.

Next season, Ace will get all of the season devoted to her as a story arc, so you have that to look forward to.
