It is a shame he didn't direct more episodes of the show. Anyone who on the fly, can make Tom Baker's absence from the episode due to an injury somewhat seamless is a good director. 81 years is a fairly long life, I hope he enjoyed it.

It's a shame to lose Rodney Bennett. I enjoyed his contributions to the DVD releases, and he seemed like a nice chap.

The Ark In Space, The Sontaran Experiment & The Masque of Mandragora are all well-directed stories.
