A Better Website

The above link will take you to the website that will replace IMDb 2.0. Apparently, it uses software that will enable it to expand and remain more stable in the future. It has a better long term future than IMDb 2.0. The IMDb 2.0 creator is actually an administrator on there.

We even have our own DOCTOR WHO forum on there.

Is the IMDb 2.0 creator shutting down his forum?

I don't believe so, but I'm not sure.

But if you want to know for sure, come over and ask.

I signed up for IM Discussion Forums, in addition to IMDb v2.0. If the former is really intended as a replacement for the latter, then the two admins need to pool their resources.

Yeah I've seen it before when forums close and replacements divvy up the members rather than both working together and one or both of them end up flopping

It's interesting because while IM Forums (https://www.imdforums.com/) seem to have the better technology, IMDB v2.0 (http://imdb2.freeforums.net/) has the clear lead when it comes to the number of users. At this writing IM Forums has 71 members, while IMDB v2.0 has an impressive 968.

While some people like myself and ant-mac have signed up for both, most current IMDb users seem to be content with IMDB v2.0.

Going from one piece of outdated late 90s technology to another I see. Forums like that are dead.
