With so little time left before the boards go away, I'm finally going to reveal a deep, dark secret. Although I think I've said it before.

I actually like The Happiness Patrol. Okay, there, I said it!

But, I do. I like the concept of a society where you're forced to be happy or are executed as a traitor to the state. Doctor Who's take on A Clockwork Orange.

I like Kandyman! I like the ironic concept of a torturer who kills you with kindness. Although it would never happen because of the copyright row it originally caused on broadcast, I would have loved it if Underground Toys had made a 5 inch Kandyman figure. Press the button on top of its head and its eyes spin around.

I for one think The Happiness Patrol is a great little story.

And the Kandyman is wonderfully silly, with those damn eyes that just won't stop spinning...

Take them to the security kitchen!

Makes one wonder if Kandyman worked in a security kitchen. He worked in some kind of kitchen, so, why couldn't be of the security variety?

I've said it before, and will say it again, I LOVE THE HAPPINESS PATROL. 10/10 I have never understood the hate for it. It is good you came clean about the serial. Personal opinions of good and bad are all subjective, so you shouldn't feel the need to hide your true feeling because of popular opinion.
