Has anybody seen the play "The Miracle Worker" performed at Helen's childhood home Ivy Green in Tuscumbia, AL? I've seen it done there twice..once in the late 60ies when I was a child and then again in the early 90ies. It was really nice seeing it performed in the same spot where the miracle happened.
shareI saw it when I was a kid in Girl Scouts. The girl playing Helen dropped the jug at the end as an accident, but it was so dramatic. I loved it. I was seven, and I still remember it.

I have seen it several times. In my opinion, you don't get the full impact of the story until you see it live at "Ivy Green". The movie is great, but there is something mystical and magical about seeing the play at "Ivy Green". You simply must see it live in Tuscumbia.
