I had the most interesting dream about Annie and the Kellers...

I had the most interesting dream last night about Annie and the Sullivans. In it, Annie, Helen, Polly, Mildred, and several other Perkins students were at a gathering on campus. It was around November or so in the dream because all these fall leaves were around. It was also after Kate, Arthur, and James felt threatened by Helen's close bond with Annie. The rest Kellers were there also for show and because they didn't want to look bad in front of the press and Micheal Anagnos. And for some reason, the Roosevelts were there also.

Well...James saw Annie, who'd gone to retrieve a drink or something at a table and approached her and started complaining about the rest of the family's financial state and then started pissing at Annie about her "stealing" Helen away from the family and also blamed her for making him and Kate and Arthur "look bad" back in Tuscumbia.

Annie tried to calm James down and softly told him that she was sorry this happened to the family, but that Helen chose to stay with her and that it was up to him and his folks to accept that and that Helen was not their "property."

That set James off, I guess because he jumped on Annie and tried to strangle her. Annie's sunglasses fell off, she closed her eyes, and her brows slanted almost vertically.

Helen, sensed Annie was in trouble, felt downward and realized what was going on and bellowed at her half-brother, Get off Teacher, you mentalheaded d*&weed! as she started to pry him off Annie.

A crowd gathered as Annie struggled to free herself from James' choking hands. It took Helen, Mildred, and several other students to pry James off Annie. Finally Eleanor Roosevelt came striding up and yanked James completely off and tossed him into a punch bowl. Mind you, watch your hands... she told him.

Kate and Arthur worked their way up and just stared for a few minutes while a student handed a shaken, bruised, coughing, trembling Annie her glasses and Helen and Eleanor helped Annie back to her feet.

Then Arthur hauled James out of the punch bowl, blasted him for creating a scene and Kate wailed at James, You've made us really look bad this time esp. when they saw reporters there.

Annie coughed a minute and seemed relieved to see James, Kate, Arthur go at Micheal Anagnos' boot. Micheal tells them never to return to this campus.

Helen asks if Annie is all right and with tears in her eyes, Annie shrugs.

It was a tad later in the dream when Annie, Helen, and Mildred are headed back to their place (Mildred was staying with them a while) and Annie tells Helen and Mildred how sorry she is and how guilty she feels about the rest of the Kellers being jealous of them.

Helen told her it was all right and not to feel bad about it, that it was something they'd have to deal with. They were also making plans to go somewhere even further north for Thanksgiving or something.

So, that was my nutty dream on all of them. Anyone ever have a dream like that on any historical characters?

Anyone else ever dream about Annie and/or the Kellers?

This is the future responding to your 12 year old post to say that https://youtu.be/P4pIa3QZqEM?t=9.
No, not really, I'm being somewhat of a dick here...
Thanks for sharing: I never had dreams about the Annie or the Kellers myself. Maybe because Arthur Penn's film is already some sort of a dream in itself and seeing it fulfilled my subconscious in ways that didn't make it necessary for it to dream about that.
