I would like to know if the dvd for this film has english subtitles?
Im deaf, and am interested to see how the deaf and blind people are portrayed in this film.
Please let me know, I really would like to watch this film, judging by your reviews it looks good!

The MGM released DVD (the one you see on the main page) doesn't have any English subtitles (it has Spanish & French, if I remember).
share I've seen the movie several times, but watched the DVD (just purchased) for the first time last night. I noticed that the menu options include subtitles in French and Spanish only.
It seems incredibly insensitive to not include English subtitles for a movie that should be accessible to all.
The Australian version of the DVD has English for the hearing impaired.
