I've already seen it about 30 times, and every time I do watch it I always end up laughing. This is one of the greatest films ever made.

It's also one of the most underrated films in Stanley Kubrick's oeuvre.

Much like the brilliant novel upon which the film is adapted the subject matter turns alot of people away.
I have tried unsuccessfully to get my more literary friends to read it but they look at me like a degenerate for claiming it's one of the best novels written.
Oh well their loss.

LOL! I have the same problem. I tell them this is one of the most brilliant and beautifully written novels I've ever read; they ask me what it's about- I tell them as tactfully as I can; then they look at me as if I'm absolutely crazy.

Just watched it again . It's definitely got some legs . It still cracks me up . The comedy aspect is over looked by many .
