Is Bobby Darin in the movie very long? I'm a huge fan, but would it be worth it to see the movie for him?

He is in the complete movie. The movie was filmed around Redding (where I live) and I saw Bobby and Sandra Dee at the local A&W having a root beer soda. They made a great looking couple.

I was in high school when this was filmed and we would go out to the ranch in Cottonwood to watch them shoot..of course at that time we didnt give much attention to Steve McQueen as he had not made it big yet, but if you look back this movie had quite a cast. Hope you get a chance to see it.

Bobby Darin is a principle character and is in the movie from beginning to end. If you're a fan, you'll want to watch this.

I agree. Bobby Darin was an important character and you won't be disappointed if you are one of his fans. The whole cast was terrific. Bobby's last scene was magnificient. It is shown fairly regular on tv but you have to keep an eye out for it on your tv guide.

Maybe TMI but in 1959, I worked for Speedy Messenger Service in NYC. I was asked to go to this theater and pick up an envelope for delivery from Bobby Darin! Ok, I was 17 and not star struck. He was rehearsing for his appearance on the Ed Sullivan show, I waited for him in the seating area, along come Bobby with an envelope and he gives me a $1.00 tip! Wow! We lowly bike messengers never get tips. I should have framed it.
