Stoney Burke on DVD??

I would give anything to see all thirty-two episodes released on some form of DVD. A box set would be great. If I only knew who I could speak with to get this accomplished...Stoney Burke really was a wonderful character.

Can you find out what tv network screened the show.

The Stoney Burke series aired on ABC.

I too would buy a box set of Stoney Burke. Please let me know if you make progress on this.

Wow.... I hadn't even thought about this series in years! I remember watching it faithfully and I remember not liking Warren Oates for years because of his character in the show! Just shows he really is a good actor! I'd love to see this series on DVD! Has there actually been any talk of this or is it just wishful thinking on our part? If anyone gets further information, please let me know too!

It's not much, but Brentwood Communications (BCI Eclipse) has released a single episode of "Stoney Burke" titled "Point of Entry" on a compilation DVD set of 26 TV Western episodes that, apparently, have fallen into the public domain. The title of the set is "Great Western TV Shows" and includes other Westerns like "The Rifleman" and "Wagon Train," among others.

Note that "Point of Entry" is only on the BCI dvd set marked "26 Great Western TV Shows" from 2003. The following year, they came out with "50 Great Western TV Shows", but dropped the Stoney Burke episode.

I have all 32 episodes of Stoney Burke in a 16 DVD box set sourced from old 16mm films of the show. Not commercial DVD quality. Still, I would rate 7.5 to 8 of 10 quality. Very watchable. E-Mail me at [email protected] if you are interested in obtaining a copy of this great set.
