Who owns the rights to Stoney Burke?

Who owns the copyright rights to Stoney Burke or is it in the Public Domain? I have 14 DVDS, but I'd like to find out if an official set is coming out too.

reply

MGM, the successor to United Artists, has the rights.

Sony Pictures Television, the owner of both companies, actually owns the rights, and in fact its logo used to be (and probably still is) added to to the end of most MGM/UA (the company that owned both the UA and MGM TV shows until Turner bought out the MGM part in the early '80's) shows, although the home video distribution rights for some strange reason are now administrated by 20th Century Fox.

At least one episode (Point of Entry) is P.D.
I got this one episode in a big 6 DVD box set of old TV westerns. Not too sure if I would class "Stoney Burke" up there with Bat Masterson, The Lone Ranger & The Rifleman... Real TV westerns shouln't have cars and horns blaring!

Trust me,
