I don't know. But there was a brief glimpse of a cannon that looked wrong for the period. It was a *breech*-loader that looked more like something from maybe the Spanish-American War, or even the First World War. Otherwise, I got no complaints.

It looks like it was taken from a WW1 movie. I don't think they had recoiling, breach loaded cannons in the American Civil War.

In the opening scenes of the film, we see cannons firing that have a system that allows the barrel to recoil to the rear on firing with the gun carriage remaining in place. This type of artillery did not exist during the Civil War.
