I just LOVE the idea of the public, so full of itself, has finally come full circle, idolizes, popularizes and clamors for a product that doesn't even exist.

The humor and subtle inside jokes (references to pot smoking and sexual preferences) are right on the money.

I think the sets could have been a bit more elegant and sophisticated, and Doris was a bit too immature for the subject matter, but her pouts and eye rolling somehow seem irreplaceable.

This movie could definitely be remade to accommodate the even more erratic, sexually bombarded, media crazed society of today, where Viagra and Cialis are common place. Who knows what VIP of the future might do?
