God I love the furniture, the paintings and the decor from this era. It was really pretty including all the colors in Doris' apartment. Even the cars, Doris drives a beautiful 1961 Plymouth Fury Convertible and Rock in that Imperial. WOW, to me this was the best of everything before the hippie movement made everyone look like they crawled out of a dumpster.

I just plain love old cars and just about anything old, as you said before hippies made everything "casual" (i.e., trash).
Although I admit, even minus hippies, the early '60s weren't so great in fashion and not my favorite era for anything. Not bad, but could be better.
The 70s was terrible.
