Could anyone tell me what the classical music is you hear in some scenes?
It's very beautiful music.
You usually hear it in scenes between Cathérine and Jim (or Jules? The guy with the black hair anyway!) So, if anyone knows, I'd be very happy!

Georges Delerue wrote the music for this film. It's very beautiful I agree.

Catherine et Jim is the title.
it also appears in "La Meglio Gioventu"

I saw La Meglio before I saw Jules et Jim, so I knew that song from somewhere, but I wasn't sure from where exactly, so thanks for clearing this out for me! :)
