What happened to Sabine?
If this is such a good film, surely he wouldn't have left a gaping hole like that in the plot?
She wasn't at her own Mother's funeral. In fact, after she was passed a bunch of logs by her dad she seemed to vanish altogether. Maybe she fell on the fire and was forgotten about.
Let me guess, there is genius involved in the decision to omit her?
No worry, Sabine didn't vanish. She was left behind the scenes. She went to sleep, if you wish.

I wondered why they did not go into her and her mothers relationship further. I mean this was her daughter, and nothing in the way of a goodby or how Jules talked to her after the tragedy seemed off. I was curious if she was going to show traits of her mothers behavior, or even if it affected her.
Hey maybe they should do her story in another film.
I'm guessing it was because x amount of time had passed and they could not make Sabine's actor look older...they could have cast another girl of course
