The song?
The Julie London-type lyrics were hard to catch because of the poor audio, but the lyricist (or somebody) managed to work in the title of the picture. Who wrote it, anyone know? (The lady has a great voice.)

shareAlmost certainly Fred Katz, who is credited with the score, maybe cobbled together from bits also heard in other Corman films. I'm wondering if the words are deliberately muddied to hide the fact that they either don't have full lyrics or they're really bad - that part of the movie seems to be 'padding' to help it stretch to feature length.
I don't know who sang it, it's a strangely familiar sounding voice, but that type of crooning was very popular at the time.
Just learned that Carole Eastman did the lyrics.
