I just saw it...
It came on TCM and i tivoed it. I just watched it tonight. I cried so hard, I really liked it and was surprised by how mature the themes and story were considering the time period (SPOILERS!: I mean, Martha basically comes out to Karan in that scene in the living room, the "bad seed" plot was truly evil and menacing she blackmailed and lied just so she wouldn't have to go to school, and of course Martha's suicide was very shocking.) I loved it!!!!! 8/10 stars! (the male love interest wasn't very interesting mainly because that man's performance was mediocre...)
