Only 20 students!?

I haven't seen this movie, but it sounds good (except for the ending). However, I'm VERY surprised to read that the school only had 20 students. That barely qualifies as a very tiny class, but it definitely does not seriously qualify as a complete school. At best, it's a wannabe school.
