.....how much do you think the young actresses knew about the subject matter of the film. Did they realize that it was a lesbian affair that all the fuss was about? Were they old enough to understand this at the time? Children at that age were much more naive than they are today.
shareI would guess they didn't know since it seems like when people make movies with kids they try not to let kids know stuff that they think could disturb them, like when they filmed The Shining the kid didn't know it was a scary movie.
shareI saw a picture online of Veronica Cartwright as a child attending the premiere of this film. If she was kept in the dark during filming, she probably found out what the film was about at least during the premiere.
