Special edition DVD comparisons

I have the "Widescreen Collection" DVD. I an not sure if that is also the "45th Anniversary Collection", I think maybe not, but the one I have does not look so hot in my opinion. There is a ton of snow in the picture. Bright colors don't look too bad, but anything grey or white shade, even actors skin, looks like a blizzard. It's pretty bad. I have not been able to find any information about restoration for this film.

So has anyone seen both (or all three) editions of the DVD and can you say for sure The Centennial Collection looks noticeably better? I am thinking about picking it up but I don't want to if it's not noticeably better looking then the one I already have.
